The mission of the youth groups of First Presbyterian Church:

As youth and adults, we respond to God’s call through the Holy Spirit to be connected to each other, the church, and the world so that our lives proclaim with joy that Jesus Christ is Lord!

The youth program of First Presbyterian seeks to achieve the following intentions:

To call young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ
To respond to the needs and the interests of young people
To work together, youth and adults, in partnership
To be connected to the whole church, community and world
To include all young people, reaching out and inviting them to belong to the community of faith.

First Presbyterian Church has voted to be part of the Presbyterian Youth Connection (PYC) of the larger church, Presbyterian Church, USA. The youth program is guided and supported by the Presbyterian Youth Connection Committee (PYCC), which is made up of one Elder, 4 parents, 4 youth, the Youth Director, and the Pastor.
