LIVING THE QUESTIONS 2.0 – A Sunday Morning Adult Education Opportunity Beginning February 7th Living the Questions is a small group study exploring beyond the traditions of Christianity. It is ideal for discovering the significance of Christianity in the 21st Century and what a meaningful faith can look like in today’s world. The format of each session includes a video, guided discussion, spiritual exercises and Bible study. The 20-minute videos for each session include conversation, sermon clips, lecture excerpts, and spiritual exercises for practical applications. For fourteen weeks beginning February 7, we will explore the seven lessons related to an Invitation to Journey. Join us in classroom 6 during Christian Education at 9:15 am on Sundays.
Presbyterian Disaster Relief Responds to Crisis in Haiti As we all seek to find good ways to support the people who are suffering in Haiti (and those who are serving them), there are many good organizations to which you may direct your gifts. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is one of them. This is one of the great programs of our denomination and you can rest assured that all the money you send to it will be used responsibly and effectively to relieve the suffering of the people of Haiti. Another reason we can be proud of PDA is its track record in staying engaged in disaster-stricken areas long after other organizations have departed. In addition to your Easter offerings from One Great Hour of Sharing (a third of which goes to PDA), you may make a special gift to the church. Please designate it clearly to PDA-Haiti in the memo line. If you wish to give directly to PDA, you may do so in one of the three ways:
1. Online at www. pcusa.org/pda
2. By phone (800) 872-3283
3. By mail: Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, P.O. Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700.
