Moorhead Presbyterian

Christian education (CE) at First Presbyterian is committed to providing a safe, encouraging and educational environment where children grow in their understanding and love of God and young and mature adults find spiritual renewal and guidance in their faith journey. There are classes for ages 3 and up, including Jr. and Sr. High youth, and 3 differently oriented adult classes. Small groups meet for Bible study and discussion as topics come up.

Goals of our CE program:

To help members practice Christ’s command to love one another
To promote member’s sense of health and self-esteem

CE activities are directed toward helping the Church respect the integrity of all members, recognizing that people of good character and principles may differ in their interpretation of truth.

Following the example set by Christ, we search:

For ways to respect people of different religions and cultures
To be good stewards of the environment in which we all live
To be ecumenically involved and socially engaged in our community
To cooperate with our sisters and brothers to promote peace and justice.
