Midweek Please join us for supper and fellowship each Wednesday at 6:30 pm. This week, February 10, 2010 will feature pork chops, mushroom gravy, vegetables and fruit.
Mark Your Calendar! We have set a date for a youth ski trip to Andes Tower Hills near Alexandria, MN – Saturday, February 27. We will be renting a coach bus and should have room for others to join us. Children younger than 4th grade need to be accompanied by an adult. A ski trip flyer and registration form is available on the table in the Narthex.
LIVING THE QUESTIONS 2.0 – A Sunday Morning Adult Education Opportunity Beginning February 7th, "Living the Questions" is a small group study exploring beyond the traditions of Christianity. It is ideal for discovering the significance of Christianity in the 21stCentury and what a meaningful faith can look like in today’s world. The format of each session includes a video, guided discussion, spiritual exercises and Bible study. The 20-minute videos for each session include conversation, sermon clips, lecture excerpts, and spiritual exercises for practical applications. For fourteen weeks beginning February 7, we will explore the seven lessons related to an Invitation to Journey. Join us in classroom 6 during Christian Education at 9:15 am on Sundays.
Ash Wednesday is approaching, February 17, 2010. Worship Service at 7 pm will feature reflection readings, contemplative music and imposition of ashes. Reflections will center on Jesus' sacrifice for us. Nursery child care will be provided during worship.
Our mission is to be a caring community of God's people who live by Christ's teaching, reach out to others to share the love of God, and celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, thought, and action.
